Many years ago, in Teapa, Tabasco , a little girl named Regina Calzada Casanova was born . Her family was dedicated to ranching and she grew up surrounded by this. At the age of 16 , he decided to move to Mexico City . Very soon she became fascinated with the world of fashion , she worked in a company that sold its products in El Palacio de Hierro .

One day, her sister Claudina invites her to a meeting with several of her friends . Regina accepts and that day they both go to the party. When they arrived they met Carlos Romero Huxley (RIP). Regina and Carlos stayed talking throughout the meeting. At that moment he thought: "She is the woman I want to marry." This is how their love story began .

Later, on the anniversary of the day they met , Carlos serenaded Regina and asked her to marry him . That was how, on December 12, 1959 , Carlos Romero Huxley and Regina Calzada Casanova united their lives forever . They were a marriage that always worked as a team . They supported and pushed each other, combining their talents, dreams and passions . The great love they had for each other prompted them to lay the foundations for what would become Regina Romero in the future .

Engineer Jorge Romero says that: “when I was little, I was a very curious and very observant child. I remember how [my parents] looked at each other, it was a look of love, affection and admiration. When they began to devise the creation of Regina Romero as a brand, that same spark shone in their eyes when they talked about their project .”
