My father , Carlos Romero Huxley (RIP), is one of the wisest men I have ever known. Their advice is with me every day and helps me make decisions. Every day, at some point or another of the day, he heard her voice saying " you can tell how careful or attentive a person is just by looking at their shoes." How right she was! Today it is very easy to buy clothes from fast fashion brands . These clothes are mass produced and without much creative process behind. However, when we choose shoes we have many priorities in mind, not just aesthetics. They must be comfortable , that go with our style and of excellent quality to take us where we need to go throughout the day.

Although we have a fairly classic or basic style, good shoes will always stand out and complement our outfits. They also say a lot about who we are . Some shoes that have been mass produced , homogenize our style and mix us with the others . Personally , I always look for something exclusive in the shoes I buy. I want each pair of shoes to tell a story and bring something positive to those who wear them.

And it is that good shoes will always be an excellent investment . Among the things we buy, there are accessories that we do not mind spending a little, like a good cell phone or, if we talk about larger purchases , a house. Of course, priorities depend on each person , however, a thoughtful and committed person is always looking for a good pair of shoes that add value to their wardrobe and their outfits.

The shoes reflect our quality as people . That is why I always choose quality over quantity . It is important to make shoes our favorite companions and choose those that stand out with us instead of just blending in with the crowd. Because, the first thing that many of us notice when we meet someone, are the shoes.
