A little over 38 years ago my parents, Regina Calzada de Romero and Carlos Romero Huxley , decided to start their path in the world of fashion . At first everyone was talking about how difficult it is to create a brand from scratch and position it in the market. However, no one prepared us for the real challenge: staying relevant in Mexican fashion over the years.

According to the RAE, the word relevant refers to something that is “outstanding, outstanding; important or significant . Over the years, we at Regina Romero have added permanence as another dimension to this definition. For almost forty years, Regina Romero has established itself as a reference in fashion in our country , the kind that fuses quality and design in a single product or, as we call it, fine fashion .

Since the end of the pandemic, we have focused on creating new relationships and strengthening existing ones within the fashion industry , joining catwalks , magazines and fashion publications and collaborating with influencers .

Only last year we were able to participate in fashion shows such as Fashion Polo México and Futur Fashion 2022 . We also share space with other great Mexican designers who inspire us and remind us of the beauty of what is made in Mexico.

Also in the middle of last year we shared a very special day with several media outlets , during which we told again and again the history of our company , from when it was just an idea, to the present.

Today we know that it is not enough to be part of the traditional media, a presence on social networks is also necessary to stay relevant. What better way than collaborating with influencers, artists and athletes? All of them are great women who inspire all Mexicans.
