Quality is defined as the set of inherent properties of something that allow us to judge its value . Although there are several indicators of quality , some of the most important are day-to-day usefulness and production processes .

Since I started working in the footwear industry more than 40 years ago, I have learned that comfort is synonymous with quality . However, many brands , in their desire to lower costs and sell wholesale , neglect the raw material of the footwear and, therefore, sacrifice comfort .
That said, we are left with the question of what are the factors that we should look at to identify comfortable shoes and , therefore, of quality . First of all there are the external materials . Elements such as the leather of the upper and the lining are essential. When you receive your shoes, make sure the leather is soft and flexible. This way you avoid chafing.
However, the elements that add the most comfort to good footwear are those that cannot be seen. The soul of the shoes is made up of:
Sole: formulated with our incomparable "JARC" technology, the soles of our shoes are reinforced with 'memory foam' for maximum comfort.

Interlining: we use them to give firmness to footwear and prevent them from deforming with use. They are so light and flexible that you don't feel them when you walk and they don't hurt your feet.

One of the many lessons that my parents (Regina Romero and Carlos Romero Huxley) left me is that if shoes are not comfortable then they do not fulfill their function. Creating comfortable shoes requires incredible dedication and precision in each of the processes.
