Many memories from my childhood are of my parents working together, always as a team. It didn't matter if they had to organize a vacation, a company meeting, a family dinner or a visit to the factories; They were always together, working side by side. Since I was little, I couldn't wait to work alongside them as a family.

When my parents retired from the company, their intention was always to leave it in the hands of the family. With a lot of respect, nerves but above all excitement I assumed the presidency of Regina Romero . Before my mother, Regina Calzada de Romero, retired, she entrusted me with her company, her legacy, and with the love and trust that characterize her, she left me ten pieces of advice that I will share with you today.

1. Finish what you start, don't leave things halfway. Only then will you discover what you are capable of achieving.

2. Be a gentleman, demonstrate it in your actions, your thoughts and your treatment of those around you.

3. Always keep your word. As a gentleman, your word is your most valuable possession.

4. Respect above all, it doesn't matter if you are frustrated, respect shows that you are the best person.

5. Customers come first, prioritize their needs and personalized attention.

6. Quality and comfort are our obligation.

7. Our shoes must be long-lasting, timeless and passed down from generation to generation.

8. Never sacrifice quality. Use the best leather, the best hardware, in general, the best materials.

9. Make sure that elegance is present in each of our products.

10. If you take care of and care for your team, they will give their best. Remember that a company is a family and together we reach higher.

These tips are the result of years of work and life learning. My mother, with her infinite wisdom, transferred her knowledge to me to help me along the way and for that, I am eternally grateful. This week we honor all mothers, our life teachers, those who accompany us every step we take.
