But every structure starts from an idea. In this case, that idea is a design of a creative mind. Each of our shoes carries extensive design work in its lines that gives it a unique character. This design will be modeled to observe its three-dimensionality for the first time and make the necessary adjustments to bring it to reality. This last phase is known as modeling or modeling and must resolve dimensions, volume and thickness of the shoe.

The footwear accessories will be a fundamental part, as they cover the last, so they must be made with high quality raw materials. The shank, buttress and socket stand out among them. The first is made of tempered steel and provides resistance so that the shoe does not deform.

The counter, almost like the sole, provides stability and support. This part is located on the inside of the heel and should be flexible and firm. The cap is its counterpart, located at the front, made to protect the fingers without hurting them. Both must be made with textile materials with thermoadhesives, to achieve a harmony between softness and solidity.

The heel, of any height, must be made of virgin polystyrene, which provides the necessary resistance to withstand weight and temperature changes. Some of them contain a steel tube inside to contain the balance of the shoe.

No matter what the shape of our shoe is, it will always have support: the sole. The connection with the floor must be a balance between firmness and comfort. A rigid material, such as leather, that provides protection, friction to avoid skidding, but also the ability to move. We make our soles with vegetable-tanned leather so that it does not absorb moisture or cold from the floor, but allows your feet to breathe and be comfortable.

As with all complex objects, not everything is obvious to the eye. There are small pieces, materials and substances that give stability to the shoe, such as threads, staples, nails and glues.

While some threads may be part of the design, as in the case of embroidery or visible seams, the rest of the materials must remain hidden from view, to achieve good finishes, but be perfectly placed to provide security to whoever uses them.

In contrast, there are elements that are made to be seen, such as hardware, brooches, bracelets, drapes, straps, chains and laces. These arise directly from the design. It is worth mentioning that characteristic stamps can also be added, such as our classic diamond on the sole.

And last but not least, we have the skin. A good shoe is made of leather, which is often reinforced with an interlining. Leather allows the feet to breathe and the shoes to adapt to the wearer, in addition to being a flexible and durable material, unlike synthetic ones.
