Alliances that comfort

6 January 2024

Regina Romero & Alejandro Carlín

Beyond the splendor and curiosity that fashion provokes in viewers, we must not forget that it has a very strong social purpose: it reflects what is happening in the world and has a strong cultural influence.
For Regina Calzada de Romero, founder of this brand, fashion has no meaning without history, vision and commitment, and it is precisely this last value that is the driving force behind making fashion with a cause. That is why we have always been interested in creating events that not only show talent, but also the responsibility we have with the world and with our country.
Alejandro Carlin
At the beginning of December we participated in the presentation of Alejandro Carlín's Spring Summer 2024 Collection. Inspired by those spectacular sunsets in pink and purple tones, the Mexican designer presented this collection with It Girl to raise funds to continue helping all those affected by Hurricane Otis.

It should be noted that the eponymous brand of this Mexican designer, in addition to being of international stature, seeks to create timeless garments arising from the feminine silhouette and elegance, and is a luxury brand with social and natural consciences, which is why we not only feel identified with it, but we also see it as an alliance that complements and comforts us. This is not the first time we have collaborated with him.
Our footwear was the perfect ally for this sophisticated collection, creating unforgettable and stylized looks, whose lines and movement gradually drew a profound altruistic action: 125 pantries were delivered in Acapulco thanks to this great event.
Every detail was carefully selected for this event, from the space to the jewelry and shoes. Our Aura model was one of the protagonists.
This space was documented by It Girl , a blog run by Gabriel Villaseñor, which presents trends that converge in the world of fashion, film, television and society. But Gabriel not only documented the event, he was also in charge of its styling .

Its brevity contrasted with its significance, as many international models and influencers wore Alejandro Carlín's creations and dressed their feet with various pieces from Regina Romero's collections.
It is a great satisfaction to unite talent and passion for our work with a powerful cause. An event that reminds us of the fragility of life, but also how we can look at it, appreciating its beauty, its complexity and facing adversity from any space.
Animal print, a strong seasonal trend, was another of the protagonists of this collection, very balanced with our Claudine sandal.
Fashion, as a social product, also serves to express our identity, to reveal who we are. And this is also Regina Romero: fashion with a cause that creates alliances that transform, unique bonds committed to the society that houses us and makes us grow in every sense.
