Friendship is one of the purest and most endearing values of human beings. Like a selfless affection, it generates very strong and close bonds that lead to trust, complicity and support. And well cared for, a friendship can transcend time and space.

When common values are shared, a friendship can generate incredible projects and be an impetus for growth. That is why today I want to talk to you about the link that exists between Regina Romero and Frattina, one of the most important stores that for 40 years has been the pioneer in bringing highly prestigious fashion brands to our country.
It would be easy to think that the only thing that unites us is a commercial relationship, since we share an identical central axis: serving Mexican women and bringing them the best of international fashion. But it's not like that. This relationship, which has transcended both brands, actually began on a personal level. The founders of Frattina, Niobe and Alicia López Ostolaza, have been friends of my mother, Regina Romero de Calzada for many years.

Friendship between women has a much deeper level: sisterhood. This type of relationship goes beyond affection: it involves a solidarity that fosters the empowerment and independence of those involved, which eliminates competition and bets—always winning—on the growth and success of those involved.
The behind-the-scenes work of our brand has exceeded our own expectations thanks to the bond that exists between the women involved.
And that was how, almost 40 years ago, Alicia and Niobe represented that air of strength that stimulated—even more—my mother's will: the location that housed our brand for many years had been Frattina Square, inaugurated in 1979, on Masaryk and Alejandro Dumas Avenues in Polanco.

Later, when Frattina changed its address a few blocks away, the López Ostolaza sisters encouraged their friend Regina to buy the store and have their own store for their brand on the corridor that would become the fashion avenue in Mexico.
The proximity of the women and their stores were, for many years, the symbol of the proximity between them and between their brands. United by the same purpose and bringing the best for Mexican women, it was evident that the brands worked as a perfect complement: while Frattina brought the best of international fashion, Regina Romero made a titanic effort to give women the best shoes, inspired by the Italian school and of high quality, but at your fingertips and without having to travel abroad to dress with international trends.
And Regina Romero is a brand that complements. Balance is part of our essence: the balance between comfort and elegance, between quality and design, also compensates the balance of a desirable life; a life that takes care of family, personal and friendship values.

To this day, we continue to collaborate with them on various events, such as catwalks and charities. As I told you at the beginning, true friendship flourishes and transcends time and space, creating unique moments that will last in its small eternity.
An example of how a friendship can create unique spaces is the recent event where we collaborated together with the De Alba Foundation for cancer patients. This organization coordinated its annual sale that took place on November 7 and 8, to support the fight against this disease.
In this month, the best time of the year to give thanks and in which we also celebrate 39 years, it is worth remembering and thanking our ties. Without a doubt, our relationship with Frattina has brought wonderful experiences and great satisfaction that are part of the history of our brand and, on a personal level, I can tell you that it is also part of mine.
