Within philosophy, the concept "dialectic" is understood as a method to analyze the contradictions and tensions within our existence. There are several types of dialectical relationships, such as materialist or idealist; However, all of these are used to understand the different contradictions of reality.

In the 19th century, the German philosopher Friedrich Hegel defined dialectical philosophy as a concept to understand the history of humanity. In short, Hegelian dialectics proposes that each historical moment, idea or concept - thesis - contains a natural contradiction - antithesis - which is always resolved through the fusion of both - synthesis.

Reality and fantasy are two of the main elements of our Spring-Summer 2023 collection ; radically different concepts that, against all odds, coexist on the same spectrum. What does the Hegelian synthesis between reality and fantasy imagined from fashion look like? The result is a new virtual universe that mixes the natural and the artificial, creating a sensation of blurred reality.

The dialectical process offers a solution to combine what we dream with what we live; two ideas that, in theory, exist at opposite poles of the same spectrum. At Regina Romero we achieve this coexistence thanks to the mixture of different colors and textures that appeal to different parts of our sensitivity. Colors that return us to earth with that indisputable brilliance of the imaginary or solid textures formulated in pastel colors.
