Each season of our Regina Collection we select a range of colours, textures and elements to use within the Collection and to have a common thread that tells a story. With this we achieve "seasonal" models that are UNIQUE.

For this season, one of the ranges we select is what we call Parma-Mocha. When selecting the skins for 1 year, we chose a sample of a VERY special skin.

In my almost 40 years of making shoes, it is few times that I find skins, which in addition to being of high quality, like all the ones we use, have their own personality and in this case they also carry an artisanal work, almost never seen before.

To tan this leather, it is necessary to work with special dyes in drums with aniline to give the color and texture that does not paint but is transferred to the fibers of the leather, which results in a totally natural appearance.

Then it is necessary to engrave the "croco", which is done with special plates in high pressure, temperature and time presses.

Finally, the craftsman needs to know the trade of what is known as "the doll." Since for hours he needs to be working on moistening a tow with a contrasting aniline and rubbing the engraved skin in circles and with his hands to give it a unique two-tone effect. So each lot is UNIQUE.

 The next great challenge is for my cutters, since they must seek that when cutting, each piece "matches" so that the pairs are symmetrical.

 The last big task is for my stitchers, who must take extreme care to ensure they are assembled correctly.

Resulting in UNIQUE and unrepeatable models.

For this season we have 3 models that wear this type of leather that we call Parma-Mocha, which are LIMITED COLLECTION.

The OXFORD MOCHA model is now available, and in a few days the VICTORIA Platform and the GEO boot will be arriving.

They are so special and different that the international footwear magazine SOURCING JOURNAL selected them for an edition of the FW19 season.
