The Law of Conservation of Matter is the basis of all natural sciences from biology to physics. This says that "matter is neither created nor destroyed, it only transforms" . One of the most illustrative examples of this law is water. We are all familiar with its cycle consisting of five steps: evaporation, condensation, precipitation, infiltration and return. Throughout this cycle, water changes form , but always retains the foundation of its element.

At Regina Romero we have been designing and manufacturing the best shoes in Mexico for more than 36 years and, over the years, we have managed to maintain our essence .

In recent years we have introduced an element that has become iconic of our brand: the fringe details on the instep. It is a special decoration that makes them unique and elegant. We have applied this differentiator in all types of shoes , from moccasins to platforms and it looks so different in each of our designs that it seems that they transform over time.

This detail made its star appearance about 5 years ago on our distinctive 1980 platform . It was so successful that we decided to adapt it to all heights. You can find this unique piece in models such as: M1980 , Serena , Magda and Kendall.

Each of the fringes that adorn the insteps of the different models is cut by hand. In addition, in the case of the 1980 and M1980 models , the small holes that decorate this fragment are drilled by hand , one by one. Their fine manual work raises the status of these models and they become a topic of conversation wherever you walk.

Nature is constantly changing , but if there is something that it has taught us, it is to maintain our essence through transformations . Something similar happens with fashion trends .
