In 1949 , ballerinas made their first appearance on the cover of Vogue in the iconic design by Italian firm Capezio , and since then, countless icons of fashion and timeless style have incorporated it into their style. Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot and Jackie Kennedy are some of our favorite ambassadors for this timeless and elegant shoe.

In the 90's , ballerinas had a renaissance in the fashion world as they became the favorite off-stage piece of haute couture models like Kate Moss . The style became so popular that it soon reached the musical stages at the feet of Sienna Miller and Amy Winehouse.
